Good News & Bad....

The bad news is I didn't make the cut for Kaiser, but the good news is that 2 of my submissions have been picked up by Scrapbooking Memories so I'm overjoyedabout that. Congratulations to everyone who made it thru, I would love to know what the acceptance feels like, I can only dream. That leaves my single layout to share (had to be about yourself - I wouldn't normally do this!!!). Just a quickie for now and I'll be back with some more layouts real soon, Tiff :o)

Lazy Saturday...

<
Hello sweet blogger, how's your day today? Well I have sooooo much housework to do and I'm not doing it....... because I'm blogging to you instead LOL!!! Housework is just soooo uninspiring, isn't it? Especially when you have 2 small kidlets who'll have it back to mess in no time..... I have a layout to share that I've completed for Scrappers Garden using their gorgeous beachy class kit. I only have the one to share at the moment as the rest of my time is being taken up with my submissions for the Rusty Pickle Amazing Race competition, I'm getting really excited about it, plus my creative mojo has been flowing so I'm fortunate for that. Will have some sneak peeks of my projects soon. Plus there's also some of my favourite pics from my random photo shoots around home. Some are of Billy & Alana playing in the dirt in our garden (hubby is a landscaper and it's only taken him 3 years since we've moved in to start re-doing the garden!!!) The others are of Alana and her clipped pigtails - too cute!!! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with love and laughter, till next time, Tiff :o)

Drum Roll Please....

To start, I will announce the winner of my Kaiser giveaway.............. and it's Alicia (Charleegirl), CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Please forward me your addy and I'll have your Kaiser goodies out to you ASAP. Speaking of giveaways, I've been lucky to win 2 RAKS myself this week, a card pack from the talented Naomi (see link in my sidebar) who is starting her very own own paper crafting kit business - Scraptapestry, for whom my good friend Aga will be designing, so be sure to check it all out via Naomi's blog. I also won one from Nat over at Scrapbook Divas for providing the most inspirational use of old/ugly/leftover alphas. My idea was to colour in with a black Zig Writer and then cover in PVA glue to create an embossed look, so thanks Nat for picking me MWAH!!! In other exciting news, I've been chosen as part of the design team for the new scrapbooking challenge site Roll The Dice. What's new and refreshing about it is that the monthly challenges will be a mix of layouts, cards and OTP items, so should be fun to mix things up a bit. First challenge is due May 1st, so keep an eye on all the action here. A HUGE thank you to Caroline and Michelle for choosing me.
PLUS, I am extremely honoured that the very lovely Julie has chosen me to be featured here. Thankyou so much Julie, I'm truly lucky to be featured alongside such inspiring artists. So that's about it for now, I'll leave you with 2 of my latest layouts but was running out of sunlight when taking the pics and so they look better in real life. The "Baby Paris" was one just for me and the "By The Sea" is my first layout for Scrappers Garden using their cool beachy inspired class kit. Be sure to check out the store for some of the best priced major brand scrapbooking supplies around. Have a marvellous week, be back with some more layouts soon, Tiff :o)

My other exciting news for the post is that I was chosen as this month's design team choice over at Karen's Scrappin Kupboard (click on the link in my sidebar to visit the store), I am most honoured, so THANKS Wendy for choosing me MWAH!!!!!

100 Years Old & Counting....

I can't believe I forgot to mention we attended a 100th birthday party 2 weekends ago. That's right ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD, letter from Her Royal Majesty The Queen and everything. Adrian's grandmother, Jessie Tickle, that's right, Tickle, (cute hey?) is an ENTIRE century old!!! It's certainly not something we will do often, go to a 100th party I mean, let alone live to that age. It's not a bad achievement is it? How good does she look for 100? Unfortunately, Jessie's not too mobile these days, but there's certainly nothing wrong with her brain at all, she doesn't even own a phone book, remembers all the numbers she needs, which is truly amazing in itself. Wonder if I'll live to 100? Geez if I do, that's a hell of a lotta layouts, can't imagine where I'll be storing em all and the OTP items, jeepers!!!!! And before I forget anything else, I'll leave you with my latest layout, I love the title "No-one In The World Is Youer Than You". I still can't get enough of those circles at the moment, they are just so easy to use. Plus a couple pics of the kids having fun on the bowling green after the party, thanks for stopping by, till next time, Tiff :o)

Just Breathe...

Ok Tiff, just calm down and compose yourself so you can type. Deep breath now, ok........ I saw a few of my friends getting accepted to the Basic Grey gallery so thought I may as well give it a whirl as BG are my 100% with out a doubt FAVOURITE brand of all time. Anyways without dribbling on too much, not only was I accepted to the gallery, which made my day as it was, but me, LITTLE OL ME, is going to be featured in the May Basic Grey newsletter. This is definintely the biggest thing that has happened to me scrapwise and a day I will never forget. Here is my layout for this months Scrap The Boys and my other exciting news is that I'm now also designing for Scrappers Garden. Linda who I got to know from buying supplies on mass through her online store, now also has a shop in Campbelltown and she is just so lovely, I am truly honoured and excited to be working with her on the design team. Thankyou so much Linda for believing in me and here's to many exciting and fun times ahead. Goodnight and sweet dreams all.....

Our Easter With The Ducks...

I just found this pic on Tash's blog, how cute is this?????
Well there were no obvious eggs to be eaten in our house today. Yes, sad I know, but my darling son Billy is unfortunately unable to indulge in chocolate so we don't eat any in front of him. But I'd be fibbing if I said I haven't had the sly one on the side though, naughty I know. For some reason I always like a coffee when I eat chocolate so that it melts in my mouth. We had the most pleasant day down at Mossvale feeding the ducks in the massive pond and then ventured off for a lovely stroll around the grounds. Here are some of my favourite pics from today. I've also shared my latest layout which was when we went to Taronga Zoo last September for Billy's 4th birthday. Hope you all had a lovely day whatever you got up to, till next time, I'm off to wipe the chocolate smile off my face, Tiff :o) Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win some Kaisercraft goodies - see previous post. Also, for your chance to win some other seriously delicious goodies, click here to go directly to Kellie Winnell's site and don't miss out, good luck!!!!!!

Kaisercraft Sneak Peeks WIN WIN WIN

I can say that if you asked me 2 weeks ago, what my top 5 scrapbooking brands were, Kaisercraft would not have been one. But so, so honestly, having worked so intimately with the products over the past week's I feel these are the best projects I've done and I feel it's due to the availability of the Kaisercraft product and the massive range of coordinating papers and embellishments to choose from. While I was completing my projects, there were several things I ran out of and it was no problem at all to get my hands on more and I didn't have to wait for postage either. I have 7 stores within 15km of my house who stock Kaisercraft, amazing really. It's even at Bunnings Warehouse for goodness sake!!! How more available can you get??? There are so many OTP album's to choose from, something for every occasion and very cheap. I also love that all their delicates are self adhesive, namely the diamontees, pearls and felt, which I used heaps of. This saved soooo much time and I found it the thing I loved most as I hate messy PVA glue on my finer details, so frustrating and you can see a film around when it has dried too. There's was none of that with these projects, so if you haven't tried Kaisercraft yet, you simply must. If it was not for this submission, my supplies most likely would've gone dusty on my shelf and I would never have discovered the love affair I'm now having with all these gorgeous products that are so easy to use. I've really, really enjoyed this entire process from choosing what to use to seeing who else out there loves this stuff. I'm really excited to see who the new contributing design team will be. And even if I'm not lucky enough to be chosen, I'm ok with that cause I've had THE BEST time. Leave a comment for the chance to win the AWESOME Kasiercraft rub-ons and bling featured below. You have till midnight next Friday AEST. Till next time, Happy Easter and lot's of chocolate kisses cheeky bunnies, Tiff :o)

Happy Easter All.....

**LAYOUT REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION**
I can't believe it has been 1 week since my last post!!! I have been soooooo busy giving the final touches to my Kaisercraft submissions and am so glad to have finally completed them. Not only has it made me use up my stash but I believe it is some of the best work I've ever done. So regardless of the outcome, I will now have some beautiful projects to keep. And no, in case you were wondering, I don't really expect to get in, just wanted a deadline to make me complete the projects that I would otherwise never have created. I will give some sneak peeks in my next post....
I've also completed my first 3 layouts for my DT work at Enchanted. I finished them within 20 hours, so I hope they are ok and not too rushed? I just like things simple at the moment, with not too much clutter. What do you think?
So how's your week going anyway? Have you eaten too many chocolate eggs yet?
Forget to mention that I won one of the Cybercrop Challenges over at Scrapbook Divas for their multi photo challenge. My LO was titled "Snapshots" and I have featured it in a previous post. Also, my "I Love You Lot's" layout is for Toni's monthly challenge over at Hybrid, 4 colours, 4 embellies and 4 words in the title. I will do all of Toni's challenges from now on, love her. Just something cute I'd like to leave you with - I peeled an orange for Alana to eat the other day and you know how there is the white of the rind that get's left on? Well she most politely asked me when I presented it to her "mummy, can you please take the clouds off?" HOW CUTE IS THAT?!!!!! It is so my next page, I can see it now........

On A High......

Excited is hardly the word to describe the way I felt when I was informed I had made the design team for Enchanted Scrapbooking earlier today. I'm still rockin in my chair and it is now hours later, I wish this buzz would last forever..... I was literally running thru my kitchen doing Toyota jumps and I'm sure my 2 year old thought I was stark raving mad! What's more of a concern is that she's probably right LOL!!! Check out the gorgeous kits the girls have on offer by clicking on the Enchanted Scrapbooking blinkie. I'd like to give a HUGE THANKYOU to Jodi & Tracey for believing in me, I will not let you down. Also, I won gorgeous Toni's monthly challenge over at Hybrid, she was so drawn on who to choose I ended up winning by the toss of a coin LOL!!! Plus I have some other exciting news, but I think that's enough excitement for one day, I leave the other for the next post, till next time, happy scrapping beautiful people, I'm still buzzing, Tiff :o)
