BWAHWHAWHAWHA......

I've gotta be the DUMBEST BLONDE on the planet!!! I spent 3 months slaving over my Masters projects and have only just realised as I look at the pics (that I took at 11pm last night so I could remember what they looked like if they got lost in transit) that I have a typo in the title of my mystery project (GASP!!!!!!!!!). What the? How could I have done that???? I know how to spell the word MEMOIRS, it's in my blog header for God's sake!!!!!!!!!! So what possessed me then to spell it MEMIORS??? I'm still trying to work that one out!!!!!!!! Can you imagine how I felt when I saw it in the photo? DEVASTATED is an understatement. I was like a crazy woman emailing SM to explain that I am not an illiterate and that it was an oversight in my rush to get everything finished in time for the courier. Thankfully they are more than willing to fix my error without me having to drive all the way in there tomorrow to fix it up, but would have if I had to. And here I was after handing it over to the courier this morning, thinking I would be able to relax hahahahahaha!!!!!!! It's a wonder I even took those pics considering we didn't need to send in any this year, so lucky I did or would never have known!!! Anyone else have any scrapping disaster stories??? I'd love to hear to make me feel like I'm not the only FREAK out there hehehe. On a brighter note, here are some layouts I have completed recently and forgot to show. These 3 were for Enchanted.

This is a proper shot of my mag pic from last post.

This one was for Mystical. And this was one I did for Blue Bazaar Bootcamp recently. I'll be back with some more real soon, so until then, take care of yourselves, Tiff :o)

MORE NEWS....

Here's one of my layouts that was accepted by For Keeps Creative Paper well over 6 months ago. It's been so long I forgot all about it until I saw the picture on my computer which triggered my memory. To cut a long story short, I emailed Casey to see what was going on and why I had not heard anything. I figured it was because I had got a new email address and forgot to forward the new details, but started to worry when my emails were not being returned. After my 3rd attempt, another lady replied saying that Casey no longer works there and that the mag is being taken over (GASP). Am I the only dumby that wasn't aware of this or did everyone else know already? I really must keep up with the goss, I am always the last to know what's going on in the world of scrap LOL!!! And lastly these are some pictures of my little angel (NOT LOL!!!) getting into my lip gloss today while I was putting the washing away!!!
Have a wonderful weekend sweet bloggers whatever you get up to!!! Be back Sunday with this week's winner of 10 gorgeous K & Co A4 Smitten papers for leaving a comment, until then, Tiff :o)

CONGRATULATIONS & A WINNER

Morning sweet blogging friends. Sorry I'm late with my blog winner for this week, and so without further ado, the winner is........... Kellie - wooohooo!!!! Please email me your addy sweetie and I'll have some happy mail out to you ASAP. Feel free to leave a comment this week to be in the running for 5 sheets of A4 K & Co gorgeous patterened papers. They are pink and burgundy and are from the Smitten range, will try to get a pic on here of them shortly. To let everyone who followed my race progress know, this is the list of lucky ladies who made the team; Beth Root Cathleen Smith Dawn Gallop Julie Hill Julie Walton Pamela Young Congratulations ladies, you are soooooo amazingly talented and I have loved seeing your work every step of the way!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't be upset for me everyone, the fact is, I was outscrapped by these amazing ladies and I think you know in your heart if your good enough and this time, I wasn't. Far out, I've only been scrapping seriously since last September when I started my blog (a page a month before that, I do not consider serious!) and I just didn't know half the techniques that these ladies knew, I haven't even done a class before, I'm self taught and I looked at these ladies work in awe! Rusty Pickle are however, holding 6 more spots open for the other 6 ladies who are not on the list, meaning we can still make the team through publication. All we have to do is have 3 of our Rusty Pickle projects accepted to magazines, email the acceptances and we are in!!! So who knows? There is always hope hehe. I will leave you with some of my latest layouts which I have been in a mad scramble to get done in my big catch up. Have a lovely day everyone and don't forget to check out Kellie's blog, she ROCKS!!!!!

FINAL LEG COMPLETE.....

Hi gorgeous blogging friends. Well I'm glad to announce that the race is finally over!!!!! I'm excited and sad at the same time!!!! The final stop took us to Scrapping Outback (at last an Aussie site - woohoo!!!) where we had to design a party from the choice of three different ranges. I chose Candy Land because I just adore it and have used it before. We had to do a centrepiece, favours, invites, thankyou's and a banner. Here's what I did;
And here is a little poem I did about the race, we all know how I love poems hehe; The time has come to say bye to you,
I've made great friends, done some scrapping too. Well a lot actually, my fingers are blue!!! I'll miss the chats, the adrenalin too. But I think most of all, I'll miss Tracey's WOOHOO!!! I've loved the race with all the clues on the way. The friendly banter and new projects each day (well almost hehe). But the sad truth is, all good things end. What was it I used to do of a weekend? A day without scrapping? Can't possibly be? To do what I want and to have some time free. Oh how nice that sounds, to relax and unwind. To venture out in the world, see what I can find. What I'd love more than ever and what I dream, Is to be part of the new RP team. But it's all well and good should that not be the case, Cause I've had an absolute ball, doing this race!!! That was the rantings of an overly tired scrapaholic!!! Best of luck my fellow racers, I truly have had an amazing race. To all the team at RP, managers, chefs, hosts, racers and supporters, I wish you all much love and laughter, thankyou for this most amazing opportunity, I will NEVER forget it, had the time of my life and loved that we could all go out with a bang with a rockin party to finish on, can't wait to see who will be a part of the new RP team, see you on the flip side all, this is Tiff from Oz signing off for now xx.

ASSIGNMENT 6 & A WINNER

Hi girls, so sorry for late post this week, The Race is really starting to slow me down, my life is basically on hold until the end and I am doing this blog at 4am in the morning, so please excuse any typos as I am still wiping the sleep outta my eyes LOL!!! This leg's cryptic clue, took up to Scrapbook Doodle, where we had to create a recipe tabbed mini album using the French Market line of papers and embellishments. But before I reveal my take on the challenge........ This week's blog winner, the 5th of my 52 giveaways is....... Nic - wooohoooo Nic!!!!! Please email me your addy and I'll have your Heidi Grace alphabet rub-ons out to you ASAP. Please feel free to leave me a comment this week to be in the running for the 6th of my 52 giveaways, which is a sheet of Carolees Creations alpha stickers - Word Play.
And please join us over at Enchanted Scrapbooking for our July Cybercrop this weekend. Here's the promo; It's Fairy Friends month here at Enchanted and this weekend 10th–13th July, we are having our wonderful FAIRY FRIENDS Cybercrop. So bring yourself and your friends to scrap some wonderful competitions, chat with the friendliest people and to WIN fantastic prizes. So mark the date on your calendar, organise your scrapping supplies and gather your friends. You can never have too many, so this month we want to increase our number of Fairy Friends here at Enchanted and Celebrate those Fairy Friends we currently have. So we want you to invite your friends to join our Fairy Circle, the more friends you entice to join and scrap with us, the more chances you have to win. For each friend that joins up and Introduces themself (and lets us know that it was you that told them how to find us), and joins in on our Fairy ChitChat and places our Enchanted Blinkie on their Blog (if they have one, see Blinkie thread in forum to obtain the blinkie code), we will give you and them a small RAK - this could be anything from some bling to felt or a stash of ribbon or blossoms. So this means that if you introduce 5 new friends you would get five RAKs!!! So be ready for some fun and exciting times girls. See you there!!!
I'll be back here shortly to show you the very exciting final leg of the race, which I have just discovered is over at Scrapping Outback which is the site of the wonderful current Rusty Pickle Chef Rachelle Minett. It is so exciting to be being hosted by an Aussie site and one with which I am already a registered member of for our final leg. It will be soooooo exciting to see who makes the team at the end. So until then, I'm back to bed for a couple hours LOL!!! Happy scrapping gals, your friend, Tiff xx.
