BEEN TOO LONG

Well here we are a little over 2 weeks since my last post and it literally feels like 2 days. Man time goes quick as you get older, it really is quite ludicrous. I've missed you guys and please know I will be leaving love for you all very, very shortly if I haven't already :o) Thankyou to everyone who enquired how I am, your comments are sooooo appreciated. I was told not that long before my break that my dad has cancer and it's really hit me for 6 in addition to a few other serious things that I won't bore you with, but life is a little challenging ATM, as if it wasn't challenging enough before. On a brighter note, check out my new baby. She's a Canon 450D with twin lense kit. A huge thanks to my good friend Tiff Firth for helping me out with my choice and I can't wait to start finding out how to use her!!!! Plus some projects and sneak peeks I've been working on. These cards and layouts were completed using my September Fairy Fun Kits from Enchanted. JUST A QUICK ONE...

Was in the mood for a quick post so thought I would show my latest entry for Round 6 of Embellished Idol. We had to use at least 4 photos, staples, rub-ons or stickers, tags, circles, flowers and hand-stitching. Here's my take.

SEEMS LIKE FOREVER

I know it has only been a week and a half but I think that this has been my longest ever gap between posts and I have wanted to update every day but there has been a lot going on around here that has prevented me from doing so. But here I finally am with my latest projects I've been working on. This is my week 5 entry for Embellished Idol where we had to create a layout based on either 5 places we want to see before we die or 5 things we want to do. I chose 5 things I want to do, which are; 1. Before I die I hope to see a cure found for autism. 2. I want to contribute significantly to society. 3. I want to write a little children's book about accepting people who are different. 4. I want to develop my passion for teaching. 5. I want to see my family live long and happy lives.

I am ever so grateful to be going thru to round 6, so a very sincere thankyou to anyone who may be reading that has voted for me, I am just so very excited as well :):):):):):):):)

And here is my September sketch for Rusty Pickle where we had to use Candy Land papers and make it funny with a poem or quote. I used some wacky photos that I would otherwise have binned and wrote;
