I'll start by thanking my amazing bosses, Nic and Andrew for their continued support and belief in me and for the amazing opportunities that have been presented to me on your behalf. And to my wonderful DT, I love working alongside you and would like to thank you for your kind words and am inspired by you all in one way or another everyday. To our two newest DT members Sandra and Tracey, you have done so well this hop and deserve a pat on the back for your talent and enthusiasm, we are so thrilled you have settled into the Twiddleybitz family and that you are having a ball. Also, to the wonderful members of our Ning site and retailers, we appreciate each and every one of you and without you, Twiddleybitz would not be the success it is today, so a huge THANKYOU to you all :):):)
With the formalities out of the way, I'd like to share with you some recent projects of mine using Twiddleybitz products. It's no secret to you all that doubles are my preferred measure of creating, so this is what I present you with this evening...
The first is a double layout appearing in the latest issue of Scrapbook Creations Magazine and is of my son asleep in Christmas Eve. It is using Karen Foster papers and gorgeous Twiddleybitz Santa and Sleigh, Curly Christmas Tree, Lamp Post, Present and Twiddley Groove Alphas & Numbers.
Second, I would like to share a non Christmas layout but one that I have just completed today and love of my daughter Alana and her "special shoes" using Twiddleybitz Fern Flourish Border and Swirly Flowers Elements.
And here is a really quick Christmas one I put together today in I think just over an hour, the quickest ever layout I think I've ever done, nothing like being under the pump and having to meet a deadline LOL (can I be excused please as I've been a little busy hosting a crop for half our design team last night and am still recovering today LOL). It was me back in 1979 when I was only 5 years old, was I cute hehe? If so, what happened? LOL. It is using many different Twiddleybitz Christmas ornament pieces, plus the masking effect of one of our large swirly Christmas trees using Crafty Notions Creative Colour Spray (Jaffalicious) and using our Crafty Notions Enamel Embossing Powders which I adore so much as there is no need for hot set powder, you just use your Versa Mark ink pad, cover in enamel power and heat and there you have it, an beautiful and instant embellishment to match your project. The powers come in a variety of colours too, which is awesome.
And last but not least, some of you may have seen this one on the Ning site already, but it is a layout about my darling Daddy who only 2 months ago lost his painful battle to cancer and it means a lot to me to keep his spirit alive. He was so very, very brave and he will always be my hero as long as my heart beats, he was truly the most amazing man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and will consider myself blessed to meet anyone of his calibre again. I have used a Nero Wrought Iron border, the Twiddley border has been embossed and the bit to the RHS of the journaling is one of the new mat board hearts border red that has been cut into a section and doesn't need anything done as it is such a lovely colour as it comes. The dreaming letters are AC leather look Thickers that have been inked. I have used Cherrylicious Crafty Notions Colour spray on the paper flower.
And for anyone leaving a comment here about anything at all, you will go into the running to win one of our stunning easels, that I am willing to send anywhere in the world.
I hope you've enjoyed the hop and can draw inspiration and go onto create something amazing using Twiddleybitz. Be sure to check back to the Ning for the chance to win something very special that I'll announce shortly and you'll have until midnight tomorrow night (Monday 13th AEST) to join in the fun.
I'd like to extend to you best wishes for the festive season and the very best that 2011 has to offer. Until we meet again, take care from Tiff and all the team at for a Twiddleybitz :):):)
